Tenuta al Poeta is one of the finest four bedroom air conditioned luxury villas in Tuscany. Lovingly restored in 2014, this stunning, impeccably furnished villa was lovingly designed to maximize on comfort and beauty. Located just a few minutes south of the walled city of Lucca, and only a two minute walk to the quaint town of Vorno, Tenuta al Poetica is a spectacular place for your next family holiday! With views over Lucca and the gorgeous Vorno valley, Tenuta al Poeta features all the modern conveniences including Wifi Internet, air conditioning, a Turkish bath, a splendid coffee bar with expresso machine, motion detector lights illuminating the staircase, a large flatscreen satellite television as well as a beautiful swimming pool and an elevated Jacuzzi hot tub.
The villa also offers an English speaking hostess to assist you during your stay and has also arranged, upon request to offer the services of the aforementioned Valentino to come and prepare a veritable feast which we guarantee will be one of the highlights of your Italian vacation to Tuscany!
The villa has a surface of 290 square meters in 2 floors and a 800 square meters garden inside a 3 hectares private estate composed by olive trees and vineyards.
Villa layout
Ground floor – Entering the ground floor to the left is a very comfortable den, with a large sofa facing a beautiful working fireplace and a huge flatscreen satellite television. Adjoining this room is a cozy library and study. Through the door is a bedroom with a king sized bed, and an en suite bathroom with a shower and a Turkish bath. There is a large open well furnished cook’s kitchen designed with an open floorplan so that there is no separation to the dining room. Also to the side of the kitchen is a small coffee bar, where guests delight in having an espresso or cappucino! The kitchen has a beautiful arched ceiling and a working fireplace.
First floor – Up the stone staircase (which have motion detector fairy lights illuminating the stairs!) are three bedrooms. The first is a beautifully appointed bedroom with a king sized bed and an en suite bedroom with a shower. There is another bedroom which gives you the option of two twin beds or one queen sized bed, with an en suite bathroom with a beautiful claw footed bathtub. The final of the three upstairs bedrooms also has the option of a king sized bed or two twins, and has an en suite bathroom with a shower. All of the bedrooms have beautiful views of the Vorno valley below.
Outdoors
Right outside the kitchen is a loggia with a dining table for al fresco dining. Guests have the opportunity to dine under the stars, looking out over Lucca and the surrounding Vorno valley. There is an outdoor barbecue and wood burning pizza oven. There is a six by twelve meter private swimming pool and also a Jacuzzi hot tub which can easily hold four people. The villa is surrounded by olive groves and vineyards and guests can delight in partaking the villa’s excellent wine!
