Il Frantoio was originally an olive press and is still today surrounded by beautiful terraced olive groves. Its recent restoration has turned it into a charming and comfortable home
(fully heated and air-conditioned) with 4 spacious and well appointed guestrooms each with modern
en-suite bath and shower facilities for up to 8 guests.
At the foot of Mount Pisano, in a valley, (6 km from Lucca) is situated this beautiful typical Tuscan oil mill, immersed among olive groves. The property was first the private oil mill of a famous noble family.
A place rich in history and traditions equipped with all modern comforts: wifi, air-conditioning, centralized music system and satellite TV. Il Frantoio offers elegant accommodations renovated with extreme care for details.
Outdoor facilities feature a beautiful swimming pool with sun loungers and deck chairs, a superb alfresco dining area with BBQ and a unique view over Lucca’s areas. The two floors oil mill offers accommodations full of charm with rustic yet elegant details, such as the original terracotta floors and wooden beamed ceilings.
The villa has a surface of 400 square meters in 2 floors and a 1.000 square meters garden inside a large private estate composed by olive trees.
Villa layout
Ground floor – a large living room with sat.TV and DVD player and a nice leisure room with sofas and board games. The beautiful living room has access to the outside dining area and to the park. The kitchen is fully equipped with a centre island perfect for cooking lessons. On this floor there is also a nice laundry room with washing machine and dryer.
First floor – 4 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. Every bedroom has a queen size bed and Baby cot is available at extra fee . Every bedroom has air conditioning, heating system and a safe. Some bedrooms overlook the pond close by, others the garden, swimming pool and olive groves. Every bathroom has a shower and some a bath tub.
Outdoors – The outdoor is compoled by a Flood-lit swimming pool (11×4 meters) provided of sunbeds and a Table & chairs for al fresco dining. Guests can enjoy Olive and woodland walks
Services – Chef service and housekeeping are provided on daily basis 6 days a week, linen change twice per week (Saturday and Wednesday), A gardener looks after the grounds and swimming pool maintenance.

Deposit: a non-refundable deposit of 30% should be submitted with booking form at time of reservation to guarantee booking. Bookings will not be accepted without a completed and signed booking form.
Balance: due 12 weeks prior to arrival (non-refundable).

Check out time: prior to 11 a.m.
CANCELLATION: bookings cancelled 16 weeks prior to arrival are subject to a 50% cancellation charge.
Bookings cancelled 12 weeks prior to arrival (if at the time final balance of payment is due) are subject to a 100% cancellation charge.
As all payments are non-refundable we would recommend purchase of your own travel insurance.
The owner and staff are not responsible for injury, loss, or damage to persons or personal property while staying at Il Frantoio.
