Villa Controni is an elegant 18th-century aristocratic villa set in the heart of a vast estate of terraced hills and olive groves. The villa has its own private chapel and ancient olive press, and boasts sweeping views across the estate and down the valley towards the medieval hilltop town of Lucca. Formal Italian gardens lay to the front of then villa, and to the rear a pretty walled garden with manicured lawns provides a peaceful setting for the delightful swimming pool and sun-lounge

Recently restored, with the addition of a new tennis court, the crown jewel of an outstanding estate the Villa  is an home of great charm with 11 elegant and luxuriously appointed guestrooms for up to 22 guests. It is surrounded by a 2.500 square meter garden which compose the italian style gardens with fountains , and the pool area.

The Villa size is 1.600 square meters in three floors: The three floors Villa offers eleven frescoed double bedrooms and magnificent en-suite bathrooms. The ground floor features a majestic dining room for max 26 people and an elegant living room with Sat-tv and DVD player; two rest rooms; a laundry room with washing machine and dryer and a typical Tuscan fully equipped kitchen. A biliard and a reading room are also at our guests disposal.

The interiors of this luxury Villa reveal its Old World heritage, from the glittering chandeliers and rugs to the paneling that lines the sitting and dining rooms. This aristocratic flair combines with modern comforts such as wifi, air conditioning and tv-sat for the ultimate perfect experience. 

On the first floor there is a marvellous living room with murano glass chandeliers and beautiful views over the park of the Villa; an elegant studio and 6 sumptuous double bedrooms. On the second floor, a beautiful attic with wooden beamed ceiling will make you want to stay forever. 5 luxury refined double bedrooms (some with walk-in closet) with en-suite bathrooms are located on this floor.

FIRST FLOOR – there are 6 spacious well appointed guestrooms (One twin and five king bedded rooms) each with superb en-suite baths and shower facilities. An outstanding central salon with comfortable sofas , armchairs, satellite TV and everything that can provide a great level of relaxation and peace.

CARAVAGGIO – Double bedroom with two windows overlooking the garden, en suite bathroom (shower). Bed 1.7m wide. 

BOCCACCIO – Double bedroom with two windows overlooking the garden, en suite bathroom (tub and separate shower). Bed 1.7m wide.

LEONARDO – Double bedroom (MASTER), en suite bathroom (tub and separate shower). Bed 1.7m wide.

RAFFAELLO – twin/ double bedroom with en suite bathroom (shower). Beds 0.9m wide.

VERDI – Double bedroom with two windows overlooking the garden, en suite bathroom (tub and separate shower). Bed 1.7m wide.

SECOND FLOOR – a beautiful attic with wooden beamed ceiling, are LOCATED 5 magnificent guestrooms including a beautifully appointed Deluxe Room that lead to a large dressing room. All the rooms provide en-suite baths and shower facilities.

GALILEO – huge 96sq m bedroom with double bed (1.7m wide), en suite bathroom (shower) and walk in wardrobe.
