Just 6km from the centre of Lucca in a beautiful valley, this beautiful typical Tuscan farmhouse, nestled among olive groves. In front of the house, a wooden bridge over a small pond leads to a charming private island shaded by trees. The property was the home of the inventor the first internal combustion engine (prototype for the modern car) in his on-site laboratory. He lived in this home from 1808 to 1887 where he conducted his most important scientific research. Today it is a charming villa for rent with 6 beautiful bedrooms with private bathrooms, great salons and large kitchen. Moreover, its beautiful and magnificent park is perfect for wedding parties and social events.

The Villa is 600 square meters and is divided in 2 floors. It is surrounded by a 13.000 square meters garden with a pond with a private island, inside a larger estate, this Villa has a beautiful flodlit pool 12m x 6m depth 1,40m and a beautiful al fresco dining area.

CANCELLATION: bookings cancelled 16 weeks prior to arrival are subject to a 50% cancellation charge.

Bookings cancelled 12 weeks prior to arrival (if at the time final balance of payment is due) are subject to a 100% cancellation charge.
