This former hayloft to the main villa where the owner lives has been totally transformed into a luxurious yet relaxed country home by an interior decorator.
Built in the 16th century, Casale Guinigi was once a hunting lodge belonging to a noble family. Having been in the possession of the current owner’s family for 200 years, the dedication to the upkeep and restoration of the house is evident.
The Villa size is 180 square meters, the garden size is 2.500 square meters, with beautiful views of Lucca area.
Villa Layout
GROUND FLOOR – Leading off the entrance hall on the spacious ground floor is the living area with dining room with its large, open fireplace connected with a comfortable indoor living room with TV .
The adjacent dining room and kitchen open onto the southfacing, wisteria-covered shaded pergola.
On the ground floor there is a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower, a second bedroom with two twin beds with a second bathroom with shower.
FIRST FLOOR – Through a beautiful staircase you can reach the 1st floor, Up on the first floor there are two double bedrooms sharing a third bathroom with tub.
Outdoors – Along with a beautiful summer sitting area under a pergola that runs the entire length of the house overlooking the pool area. With breathtaking views and gentle summer breezes, the pergola is the ideal shaded spot for friends and family to gather for leisurely meals, conversations or drinks. Walk down the stone steps to the pool with a fragrant landscaped garden that offers the perfect place to relax and cool down on a Tuscan summer’s day.
This villa, with its complementary mix of antique and contemporary furniture, old handmade terracotta tiles and beautiful gardens, along with all the latest comforts such as sat tv, airconditioning in each room and a strong wifi connection makes it a recommended setting from which the many gems of Tuscany can be enjoyed.
